The vision of BPIII is to act as a private funding vehicle for regional economic development. BPIII will partner with SIEDO, local Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development Councils and others. This proactive, cooperative and aggressive program will strive for regional business retention, expansion and recruitment, and will improve the economic performance and vitality of Southern Idaho. The new Southern Idaho region is defined as Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka and Twin Falls Counties. Representatives from Chambers of Commerce, SIEDO, local Economic Development Organizations, the College of Sothern Idaho, Cities, Counties and the Private Sector have agreed to collaborate in helping to build jobs, the tax base and wealth in the region.
SIEDO is a joint venture of public and private sectors in the cities of Twin Falls, Jerome, Gooding, Minidoka County and Cassia County (Mini-Cassia area) which was formed to help diversify and strengthen the local economy by retaining and attracting businesses to the Southern Idaho region. SIEDO works closely with each of these communities to promote economic development through expansion of existing businesses and to implement a focused consistent program to attract new businesses to the region.

Mini-Cassia Economic Development Commission

The mission of the Mini-Cassia Development Commission is to facilitate a healthy economy for the Mini-Cassia area by providing assistance to our existing economic base industries for growth and expansion. Mini-Cassia Development Commission will also provide assistance to emerging, new, and relocating industries that will create employment that will sustain our workforce and improve our quality of life and environment.

The Mini-Cassia Economic Development Commission is the separately funded economic development division of the Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce. With the long-term mission of creating jobs, encouraging investment in the community, and maintaining a balanced quality of life, the Mini-Cassia Economic Development Commission is actively involved in the economic vitality of the Mini-Cassia area and the Magic Valley.

MCEDC is a permanent sub-committee of the Chamber, functioning under its own budget and governed by a Board of Directors. The Chamber Executive Director and one Chamber Board member act as liaisons to the Commission, working on active committees within the organization, assisting with promotion of the area and recruiting of new businesses.
BAMA consists of Burley merchants who are interested in promoting the City of Burley through creating seasonal activities, sidewalk sales and community events. Every year BAMA holds T-shirt sales to help promote the Idaho Regatta held every June.

High visibility and advertising value is offered to members who sponsor a Chamber events such as the Annual Installation Banquet, Farmer and Business Appreciation Banquet. Golf Scrambles or monthly mixers. As event sponsors, their company name is prominently displayed and promoted. Pre-event publicity and mailings offer them broad advertising exposure. The Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce is proud of our program "Chamber Cash". Chamber Cash are gift certificates that can be used the same as cash at participating member businesses.

Employers in our area give large amounts of cash as gifts, incentives, and bonuses to employees and they would like to see those dollars spent in our area. Each dollar that is brought into our area circulates on average seven times before it moves on, and this program aims at keeping those monies in our local market as long as possible while also supporting programs and services provided by the Chamber.
