The Mini-Cassia Chamber Ambassadors hosted a ribbon cutting at Sunrise Cleaners Dry Cleaning & Laundry to welcome the new owners. It is located at 714 F Street in Rupert, next to the Post Office. The building it’s in was Carter’s Cleaners in 1927. The business is owned and managed by Tammy and Coy Parton who are pictured cutting the ribbon, next to the Coys on the left is Sherri Miles, Community & Economic Development Director from the City of Rupert and to her left is Tammy’s mom, Betty Gibson. The City of Rupert’s “Operation Face Lift” project recently painted around the doors and windows of the business.

The Mini-Cassia Chamber Ambassadors hosted a ribbon cutting at Mad River Laser Engraving located at 700 S. Oneida Street in Rupert, to commemorate their grand opening. The business is owned by Nicole and Alex Pratt. Nicole is pictured cutting the ribbon with her family, friends and members of the Ambassadors. Not pictured is Alex who was out on kayaking on the Snake River not on Mad River. They offer a unique style of engraving with laser technology which can be utilized on variety of products and surfaces such as crystal, plastic, wood, stainless steel and acrylic. USA Gymnastics is back in Mini-Cassia just in time to celebrate the 2012 London Olympics!!!
Topflight Tumbling, headed by VerLynn Anthon, has 40 years of experience teaching tumbling in the Magic Valley. She is also a professional USA Gymnastics member. Topflight tumbling offers recreation and competitive power tumbling following USA Gymnastics guidelines. They compete on both the tumble track and the double mini trampoline. Tumbling classes are offered for boys and girls ages 3 and up. Joining VerLynn's coaching staff will be her daughter Kodi Gregerson, a former national level competitive power tumbler with USAG. She has taught at Topflight for 4 years.
Women's (girls) gymnastics includes bars, beam, vault, and floor exercise. Floor exercise is a combination of both tumbling and dance. Men's (boys) gymnastics will also be offered. Gymnastics classes are available for children ages 2 and up. Elevate Cheer includes competitive All-Star cheer programs for girls 4 and up as well as recreational cheer, and stunting/tumbling classes for jr/sr high school students. These programs are run by Jenn Jones. Jenn was a competitive gymnast in Moscow, ID, a cheerleader, and has years of coaching experience; including coaching tumbling at Impact Athletic, she is also a professional USA Gymnastics member. Joining Jenn on the Elevate staff is Renee Craney, a former gymnast, and head of Impact Athletic All-Star Cheer and Tumbling program; Sissy Phillips former Minico High School Varsity Cheer Coach, and Texas college cheerleader; and Jenny Kidd, former competitive gymnast. Elevate will also be offering preschool taught by Dianna Prescott, BS Elementary and Special Education, and Kiley Pierce, BS, Child Development. Their top priority is to prepare children for kindergarten through a fun, interactive program, including gymnastics instruction.
