The Mini-Cassia Chamber Ambassadors hosted a ribbon cutting at Old School Bakers & Candy Makers located at 1229 Overland Ave in Burley, to commemorate their grand opening. The business is owned and operated by the owners, Raymond & Sonia Hohosh, pictured cutting the ribbon. Business hours are 10 to 6, Monday through Friday; their business number is 208-878-5660.
They make Artisan bread, Cinnamon rolls, various cakes, hand- made Chocolates, Caramels, Brittles and Cookies. They have pizza on Mondays from 2:00PM to 7:00PM and are open from 10:00AM to 6:00PM, Monday through Friday. Special orders are welcome. Drop in and sample their daily specials. Mondays, Pizza & Cinnamon rolls, Tuesdays, French baguettes & Whole wheat bread, Wednesdays, Cinnamon rolls & Multigrain bread, Thursdays French Baguettes & Raisin walnut bread, Fridays Cinnamon rolls & Ham & Cheese turnover. They will soon carry herbs, spices and European gourmet cheeses.
