SYRINGA PLAZA APARTMENTS 626 Elba Avenue Burley, ID 83318 208-677-4204 Syringa Plaza Apartments opened its doors on April 1, 1996, and has been providing affordable HUD-Subsidized apartment homes to people 62 and over since that day. Members of the First Christian Church of Burley had a dream to provide quality affordable housing to senior citizens and through the sponsorship of the National Benevolent Association; they obtained a grant from HUD to make that dream a reality. Syringa Plaza is a non-profit organization; it is governed by a local owner board and currently managed by Mercy Services Corporation. An upbeat retirement community, everyone has their own cozy one bedroom apartment and many activities to enjoy. Rent is based on income and utilities are exempt.
