Clyde N. Coats opened the business nearly 51 years ago as Bishop Ready Mix. Today it is owned and operated by his son Dave and grandson Luke making up the 3rd generation of Coats. Triple C Concrete supplies ready mix concrete to all the Magic Valley. The Rupert location has 30 employees. Other locations are in Jerome and Twin Falls bringing them to a total of 65 employees overall. They also own several gravel pits throughout the area. They claim that equipment, technology and product have made them successful but not as much as their loyal customers – the true success of their business. Triple C Concrete supplies ready mix concrete to residential, commercial, agricultural, business and industrial sites. They also sell bags of cement, decorative rock, sand, gravel and precast concrete objects such as septic tanks. Septic tanks can be delivered to the building site. Business hours are typically 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday but it depends on the weather and what the customer wants.
