Mini-Cassia Commerce Authority (MCCA)
The Mini-Cassia Commerce Authority (MCCA) is a quasi private-public entity created from Idaho Code, Title 70 Chapter 22, sometimes referred to as the “Intermodal Commerce Authority Legislation” The MCCA was formed to promote, create, build, and advocate for the specific and unique needs of business in the counties of Cassia and Minidoka.
The MCCA has unique abilities to interact with national, state, county and city entities, while at the same time maintaining to the ability to engage with private entities, thus utilizing the benefits of private-public partnerships for the economic benefit of the two county community. The unique attributes of the MCCA culminate with a highly qualified board of 7 who have vast professional, legal, business and financial acumen, all of whom, are dedicated to making decisions that promote the long term well being of Cassia and Minidoka County and the cities, people and business that they have within their boundaries. Winston Inouye, the director of the MCCA is consultant with Idaho Policy Advisors and has worked in the arena of advocating for, developing and promoting business, both at the state level and community level for several years.
The MCCA is excited to be a part of the Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce. The Mini-Cassia Chamber is not only well known in the Magic-Valley, but throughout the state as a well ran and highly dedicated organization.
