The University of Idaho is sponsoring this class that will cover the food safety aspects of home preservation, water bath canning, pressure canning, freezing and drying of foods. Dates: Wednesdays, March 17, 24, 31, and April 7. Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Lab: April 10, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Place: Minidoka County Extension Office, 85 East Baseline Road, Rupert, Idaho. Cost: $35.00 (includes: notebooks, publications and lab supplies) Pre-register: Friday, March 12th, call 878-9461.
