This event is a free So central Id.community BBQ with hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries and ice cream for the general public and we have 3 high school bands playing music in the band shell, This year we have Minico Spartans High (4th year), Jerome High and the Twin Falls Drum Corp playing and then we have a special treat from the Old Time Fiddlers that will play the last set.

We also have all kinds of activities for the kids including bounce houses, Don's mini train and the Home Depots kids clinic.

Last year's event brought in 5,000 people. The most exciting thing happening however is we have approx. 80 different service providers several from the mini-cassia area that offer assistance to families that are struggling in today's economy.  Some of the providers besides SCCAP include Programs for veteran's, seniors, disabled and kids.  There will be financial assistance with affordable housing, credit and debt counseling and this year we will have the Lions Eye Screening unit there to do free eye test.  Our Theme is "Building a Healthier Community" and we will also have a number of providers that offer assistance with health care.
