Wynn and Jeannine Dewsnup came to Almo 40 years ago and fell in love with the valley and are the proud owners of the Almo Outpost steakhouse. It was started with the focus of the outpost to create jobs, opportunities and a place to bring families and it has since expanded into one of the top 5 steakhouses in Idaho. And they know that for this to happen you need to have a really great meal in order to bring people all the way up there, and that is done by having hand cut certified Angus meat and rib-eye of the highest quality, they take the time to properly prepare it and care for it.

They believe the higher the quality of the meal, a friendly atmosphere are the most important and that you will find it at the Almo Outpost and they know once you eat a steak there you will never want one anywhere else! So stop in and be sure to get their signature pioneer pudding, and they will always make room for anyone who comes to see them.
