Networking Opportunities

Business After Hours:
This networking event is typically held from 4 – 6 p.m. at different member businesses each month. Attendees enjoy casual friendly networking opportunities with other members. This event attracts a broad cross-section of business people. The Mini-Cassia Chamber Ambassadors assist with planning of this event.

Membership Luncheons:
The Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce Luncheons are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 12 noon. Members enjoy mingling with 30-40 attendees for networking. New members are introduced and given an opportunity to say a few words about their business. Ribbon cutting and/or open house activities are announced. The program includes Chamber business, future events and a guest speaker on hot topics for business and the Mini-Cassia area.

New Member Receptions:
Twice a year, members are invited to meet the Board of Directors, the Mini-Cassia Chamber Ambassadors and Chamber staff during a Member Orientation and Reception. Members have the opportunity to get acquainted with other members and Chamber leaders in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Advertising Opportunities

The Mini-Cassia Guide:
A visitor's directory & buyer's guide for the Mini-Cassia area is distributed to more than 11,000 people including members, businesses and travelers. The guide is also inserted in all relocation packets. Members only are listed by classifications, providing high visibility to potential customers.

Internet Exposure:
The Chamber home page includes a business directory of our members, giving them worldwide free exposure. Banner ads are also available for $75 per year

Newsletter:
Each month, the Mini-Cassia Business News, the Chamber newsletter, is mailed to over 450 leading businesses, individuals and media. New members and spot light members are profiled with a photo and profile. All members can submit editorials about themselves providing free advertising exposure. Yearly advertisement opportunities in the newsletter are available for $150 per year.

Newsletter Advertisements:
Newsletter ads are a popular method for advertising sales, projects or special events. Different sizes of ads are available and they are available in both color and black and white. (Postage alone would be over $150.) This is a great way to reach many area businesses. The Chamber has the best mailing list of the area. Members provide an original hard copy flyer or email and the Chamber will do the rest!

Grand Openings/Ribbon Cuttings:
This ceremony increases visibility of new or expanding businesses. Pre-event and post-event publicity is provided in the newsletter with an article and/or caption in the South Idaho Press, Circulation 5,000 and the Times News, circulation 12,000 with both a photo and article.

Member Sponsorships:
High visibility and advertising value is offered to members who sponsor a Chamber event, such as the Golf Tournament, Farmer/Business Banquet, Annual Installation Banquet and monthly mixers. As event sponsors, their name is prominently displayed and promoted. Pre-event publicity and mailings afford them broad advertising exposure at no additional cost above their sponsorship fee, discount, gifts, etc.

Broadcast Faxes and emails:
Members can bring in flyers that we will send out through our broadcast fax and email lists. These reach hundreds of businesses. This can be done for a minimal fee of $25. If it is a community event you are promoting, we will do it free of charge.
