Chamber Committees

The Mini-cassia Chamber of Commerce has several committees focused on benifitting the chamber membership and the local community!

The Mini-Cassia Ambassadors is a permanent committee of the Mini-Cassia chamber of Commerce that acts as the publicity and public relations arm of the Chamber.  They work together to recognize, promote and serve the Mini-Cassia business community.  They are responsible for conducting official ceremonies such as ribbon cuttings, Business Open House functions and groundbreakings.  This committee is committed to member retention and recruitment and they act as the Membership Committee, assisting the Chamber Membership Director with member recruitment activities.
This committee was formed with an interest in all phases of business development, including, but not limited to, employee development, workforce development, and enhancing area pride by pursuing and developing campaigns, programs, seminars and opportunities that reflect the positive image of the business community.
The main objective for this committee is to keep state and local governments aware of issues that affect the Mini-Cassia business community. They work hand-in-hand with legislators on House and Senate resolutions and bills, organize weekly teleconference calls with state legislators and actively promote the yearly Business Day at the Legislature during January.
The Tourism committee is faced with the perplexing problem of how to bring the traveler off the interstate so they can experience the "Snake River Plain" first hand. This committee is continually developing new programs, designing brochures and creating special events to capture the drive through tourist.
If you like to talk about the valuable benefits of the Chamber, then this committee is for you! They work with the media to increase member and community awareness and actively promote other committee activities.
The Mini-Cassia Agri-Business Committee is committed to preserving, marketing and enhancing the agricultural industry in the two county area. The Ag Committee meets on an as needed basis.
