The Tourism committee is faced with the perplexing problem of how to bring the traveler off the interstate so they can experience the "Snake River Plain" first hand. This committee is continually developing new programs, designing brochures and creating special events to capture the drive through tourist.

The main objective for this committee is to keep state and local governments aware of issues that affect the Mini-Cassia business community. They work hand-in-hand with legislators on House and Senate resolutions and bills, organize weekly teleconference calls with state legislators and actively promote the yearly Business Day at the Legislature during January.

This committee was formed with an interest in all phases of business development, including, but not limited to, employee development, workforce development, and enhancing area pride by pursuing and developing campaigns, programs, seminars and opportunities that reflect the positive image of the business community.

The Chamber has several committees full of volunteers working for and in behalf of you and your business!

Members are encouraged to provide the Chamber with brochures, ads, coupons, or business cards that can be inserted in the 300+ relocation packets the Chamber distributes annually. This mode of this inexpensive advertising method increases exposure to the buying habits of newcomers.

The Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce receives on average 12,000 walk-in visitors and 15,000 phone calls per year. Referrals will be made only to Chamber Members.

Complete direct mailing information of 400+ Mini-Cassia Area businesses on ready to use labels or as a list allows you to develop a database of business prospects. Labels are $30 or Chamber Members can get a printed list for FREE.

The Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce luncheons are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 12 noon. Each month features a special guest speaker that speaks on valuable business topics.
